Sports Massage

Sports massage is a type of massage that incorporates passive movements, stretches, and massage techniques.  The combination of these creates an environment for your body to release its areas of tension with minimal, if any, pain.  This massage goes as deep as a deep tissue massage, and the process can invigorate your body for performance coming up or recover from performance recently finished.

Therapeutic massage

Therapeutic massage is a combination of massage techniques that relax your body where it needs less attention and decompresses your body in its areas of tension. Deep compression techniques along with slight stretching are used to give a soothing release of tension. Trigger point therapy can be used in your most stubborn posts of tension.

Ashiatsu Massage (foot pressure massage)

Shiatsu Massage (hand pressure massage)

Ashiatsu is a deep compression massage done with the feet of the therapist using mostly effleurage massage strokes and straight deep compression on the client. It creates a euphoric feeling of relaxation while decompressing the muscular system of the body. The feet feel like larger hand while massaging.

Shiatsu is done with the hands in the same way with mostly straight deep compression and effleurage massage strokes giving the same euphoric feeling and decompression of the body.

Relaxation Massage

Relaxation massage is a light pressure massage using flowing massage strokes, and it will not cause any pain during the massage. This massage is intended to use the power of touch and moving hands to promote the parasympathetic (relaxation) nervous system to take over for the hour of your massage.  It can decompress the muscles through the indirect path of the parasympathetic nervous system (not by using deep tissue techniques). This massage will leave you feeling euphoric.
